โทล์ลเวย์ เดินหน้าติดตั้งแผงโซล่าเซลล์เพื่อผลิตพลังงานทดแทนใช้ในอาคารสำนักงาน และอาคารด่านเก็บค่าผ่านทาง 9 แห่ง วางเป้าติดตั้งครบสิ้นปี 67 คาดได้กำลังการผลิตรวมกว่า 373 กิโลวัตต์ สามารถประหยัดการใช้ไฟฟ้าโดยเฉลี่ยได้ถึง 30 % มุ่งสู่ Net Zero

นายนพพล โพธิ์ขี ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายพัฒนาธุรกิจและกลยุทธ์เพื่อความยั่งยืน สายงานพัฒนาความยั่งยืนองค์กร บริษัท ทางยกระดับดอนเมือง จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ DMT   เปิดเผยว่า บริษัทฯ มีเป้าหมายขององค์กรที่สอดรับกับนโยบายของประเทศ ในการเป็นองค์กรที่มีความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอน (Carbon Neutral) ภายในปี  2050 และได้มีการตั้งเป้าหมายที่ต่อเนื่อง คือ การมุ่งสู่องค์กรที่มีการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ (Net Zero) ภายในปี  2065 นั้น โดยหนึ่งในแผนงานเพื่อบรรลุเป้าหมายดังกล่าวของดอนเมืองโทล์ลเวย์  คือการลดการใช้พลังงาน หรือใช้พลังงานทดแทนในกิจกรรมการดำเนินงานของบริษัทฯ ให้มากที่สุด ซึ่งส่วนหนึ่งก็คือการติดตั้งแผงโซล่าเซลล์บนหลังคาอาคารสำนักงานใหญ่ และอาคาคารด่านเก็บค่าผ่านทางทั้ง 9 แห่ง เพื่อผลิตพลังงานสะอาดจากแสงอาทิตย์ใช้ทดแทนพลังงานไฟฟ้าบางส่วน
