The project, comprising a single 95 MWp photovoltaic installation, has been acquired by Sunovis, a Brookfield- owned platform company, under a sell-side M&A mandate executed exclusively by Capcora.

The project has reached full RTB status, and construction is scheduled to begin immediately following the acquisition. The transaction represents one of the larger stand-alone PV assets currently changing hands in the German market, where smaller, fragmented project structures are common and investor selectivity has increased due to challenging market conditions. Despite the current environment, marked by evolving grid requirements, construction-cost volatility, and limited liquidity for isolated RTB assets, the project attracted keen interest, highlighting both the robustness of its development work and the appetite for well-structured German solar opportunities.

”We are very pleased to have successfully completed the sale of this landmark project with a capacity of 95 MWp. The transaction reflects the strength of our development platform and our commitment to bringing high-quality renewable-energy assets to market, even in a challenging environment for stand-alone PV in Germany. We look forward to seeing the project realised under its new ownership and to continuing to scale our pipeline across the region,” commented Dr. Janis Meyerhof, CEO at Visiolar.

“This acquisition represents an excellent addition to our growing renewable-energy portfolio in Germany. The project meets our investment criteria in terms of scale, maturity, and long-term value creation, and we appreciate the professionalism demonstrated throughout the process. We remain committed to expanding our footprint in the German solar market and to contributing meaningfully to the country’s energy transition,” stated Markus Renz, Managing Director at Sunovis.

“This transaction stands out in an increasingly demanding German PV market, where completing a sale of a stand-alone, ready-to-build project requires deep market knowledge and industry network as well as disciplined preparation and an efficient, investor-oriented process,” said Henning Prigge, Director at Capcora. “We are pleased to have supported Visiolar in achieving a positive outcome under current market conditions.”

Legal advisory support was provided by Heuking and Kopernikus Rechtsanwälte, Dr. Nicolas Penner on behalf of Visiolar. Sunovis was legally represented by Orka and Oppenhoff.
