AXITEC Energy India Pvt. Ltd. has commissioned a 580 kW solar photovoltaic project at Umiyaji Stone Crusher in Nashik, marking another step in the adoption of clean energy by power-intensive industrial operations.
The installation is expected to generate around 7.42 lakh units of electricity annually, helping the stone crushing unit reduce its reliance on grid power while avoiding nearly 609 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions each year.
Stone crushing is among the most energy-intensive industrial activities, demanding continuous and cost-efficient power. The solar project is aimed at lowering operational energy costs, improving energy security, and supporting long-term sustainability for the facility.
The project was executed by Polaris Renewable Solutions Pvt. Ltd., which served as the EPC partner. AXITEC supplied its high-performance solar modules, working closely with Polaris to ensure optimal system design, efficiency, and long-term reliability.
Commenting on the commissioning, Tanmoy Duari, CEO, AXITEC Energy India Pvt. Ltd., said the project demonstrates how solar technology can deliver tangible operational value even in demanding industrial environments. He added that the company remains focused on supporting industrial decarbonisation through reliable modules and strong EPC partnerships.
Gunpreet (Kunwar) Gujral, Director, Polaris Renewable Solutions Pvt. Ltd., said the project reflects the company’s capability to deliver robust solar solutions for heavy industrial applications, enabling long-term energy savings and sustainability for clients.
With annual generation exceeding 7.4 lakh units of clean electricity, the project aligns with India’s broader renewable energy and climate goals, highlighting solar power as a practical and scalable solution for industrial sustainability.
AXITEC Energy India said that it will continue expanding its footprint across the commercial and industrial solar segment, focusing on solutions that balance performance, financial viability, and environmental responsibility.
