Residents furious officials could benefit from solar farm in Fayette – Hillsdale Daily News

JONESVILLE — Dozens of Hillsdale County residents packed a meeting of the Fayette Township Board on Jan. 12 to voice concerns about a proposed commercial solar project.
Stephen Oleszkowicz, who lives on Half Moon Lake Road south of North Adams Road, is organizing opposition to both the solar proposal and what he calls a lack of transparency from local officials. He was the first to speak during public comment Jan. 12, and said he believes several members of the Fayette Township Planning Commission stand to financially benefit from the project.
