Mass. golf course sold for 30-megawatt solar project – nbcboston.com

Maplegate Country Club, in Bellingham and Franklin, has been bought by a solar developer planning a renewable energy project.
A solar developer has paid nearly $25 million to buy a public golf course in Massachusetts that spans Bellingham and Franklin, with a plan to close the course and install a 30-megawatt solar array.
The deal closed Dec. 30. The sale was brokered by Wrentham-based American Commercial Real Estate, which announced the deal on Monday.
