GREW Solar, a major player in the solar energy sector, has secured a substantial order valued at approximately Rs 500 crore. The order comes from an Independent Power Producer (IPP) for the supply of high-efficiency photovoltaic (PV) modules.
This deal will bolster the IPP’s upcoming utility-scale solar projects spread across various locations in India, underscoring the ongoing expansion in the country’s renewable energy infrastructure.
GREW Solar currently runs a 6.5 GW solar PV module manufacturing plant in Dudu, Rajasthan, with ambitious plans to increase its capacity to 11.0 GW while also setting up an 8.0 GW solar PV cell facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh.
