IPX Power, a US-based independent power producer developing and operating clean energy assets, has been launched by Climate Adaptive Infrastructure following the sale of Intersect Power to Google. The new company has been separated from Intersect Power and is now managing a portfolio including 4.4 GW of PV capacity and 8.8 GWh of BESS that are operating or under construction. These clean energy assets are serving utilities and other electricity customers across California and Texas within the company’s operational portfolio. According to the statement, the portfolio includes construction of one of the world’s largest BESS, while additional solar and battery storage projects remain under development.
