PV Book 2026 opens after reaching 12,000 downloads among solar leaders – Strategic Energy Europe

Our initiatives

The 2026 edition of PV Book, published by Energía Estratégica, has officially opened its call for companies from the solar photovoltaic sector seeking to position their technologies before a specialised international audience.
Following the strong impact of its launch, the platform is preparing its second edition. First introduced in 2025 as a digital catalogue designed to support technical decision-making, PV Book gathers detailed information on solar PV modules, inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and solar trackers within a single platform.
Companies interested in participating in the new edition can contact the organisers via [email protected] to request further details and secure their inclusion in the upcoming publication.
By centralising technical datasheets, the platform enables developers, distributors, EPC contractors (Engineering, Procurement and Construction firms) and investors to compare solutions and evaluate available technologies in an increasingly competitive global solar market.
During its first edition in 2025, the platform recorded more than 12,000 downloads, with over 50% of the audience composed of industry leaders and decision-makers in the energy sector.
This consolidated the catalogue as a relevant technical platform for manufacturers and suppliers aiming to increase their visibility within the global solar energy ecosystem.
The previous publication brought together nearly 50 companies from the photovoltaic industry, including:
Solis, JA Solar, Huawei, Yingli, Sungrow, APSystems, Black & Veatch, Pylontech, Tongwei, Jinko Solar, S-5!, Gonvarri Solar Steel, GCL, Master Battery, Erco Energia, Gotion, CATL, Amara, Growatt, Sisener, 8.2 Group, Genneia, 360Energy, Tecnovex, Above, Risen, PVH, Hellonext, SAV Digital Power Technologies, ClouEss, LONGi, Astronergy, EPSE, Great Power, Sigenergy, Haitai Solar, Fronius, Ideematec, FoxESS, GoodWe, Soltec, SolaX Power, Solar DQD, Antai Solar, Factiun, Singsun, YPF Luz, Energía Americana and EMD International.
For the 2026 PV Book, several companies have already confirmed their participation, including:
Solis
Sungrow
Tongwei
Solar Steel
360 Energy
SolaX Power
Sigenergy
Black & Veatch
EPSE San Juan
NextPower
BLC Power Generation
Erco Energia
Jinko Solar
APSystems
GameChange
S-5!
Energía Americana
This early participation signals once again a broad representation of technologies and solutions for solar PV projects, ranging from equipment manufacturers to project developers and technology providers.
A key innovation in the upcoming edition will be a stronger focus on photovoltaic distributors, whose role has become increasingly relevant in the expansion of solar technology and in connecting manufacturers, system integrators and end users.
With an intuitive interface and a single digital access point for up-to-date technical information, PV Book facilitates equipment comparison and enables companies to position their products before buyers, developers and decision-makers across multiple energy markets.
In this context, Energía Estratégica has officially opened the call for participation in the 2026 edition of PV Book. Companies interested in including their technologies in the catalogue can request further information by contacting [email protected] to secure their place in the next publication.

Following the first tender that awarded 928 MW to industrial and green hydrogen projects, the sector is assessing the outcomes and looking ahead. Jorge González Onieva Johansson, from OSPREL, warns that access to grid capacity is becoming a strategic resource as Spain’s transmission system operator identifies 75 grid nodes that could be included in future tenders, with the next call potentially arriving between the first and second quarter of the year.

The manufacturer reaches a new milestone after delivering more than 400 GW of photovoltaic modules, enough capacity to power 40 million homes. With costs falling from USD 3/W to just USD 0.10/W over two decades, the sector is entering a phase where the challenge is no longer price, but solar’s strategic value within the energy system.
