NTPC Green Energy commissions 105 MW of Khavda-II Solar PV Project in Gujarat – PSU Connect

New Delhi, March 29, 2026: NTPC Green Energy Limited has declared commercial operation of 105 MW, the fifth tranche of its Khavda-II Solar PV Project in Gujarat. This brings the project closer to full capacity and adds to India’s renewable energy portfolio. The capacity came online effective 00:00 hrs on March 29, 2026, as reported by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited.
With this commissioning, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited group rises from 9,802.68 MW to 9,907.68 MW. The Khavda-II Solar PV Project is part of India’s largest renewable energy initiatives, supporting the country’s clean energy transition.
The project underscores NTPC Green Energy’s commitment to expanding solar energy generation capacity while contributing to India’s energy security and sustainability goals.
 
The announcement has been made to the BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
