Our bi-annual Rooftop solar and storage report, January to June 2025 shows that Australian consumers and small businesses continue to take advantage of Australia’s abundant solar resources with rooftop solar accounting for 12.8 per cent of all electricity generated in the first half of the year.
While 4.2 million Australian households and businesses have installed rooftop solar and increasing numbers are buying batteries, now is the time to unlock the next wave of solar savings by supporting the nearly 3 million Australian households who are renters.
