Punjab receives just 270MW bids against the 300MW requested for by PEDA

In a growing trend of developers not agreeing to the prices that are being floated by State Renewable Agencies, Punjab has just received 90% of the proposed capacity. In the past Solar projects have been oversubscribed in the multiples but that trend is fast on its way out.

It would be quite interesting to see the prices quoted for Punjab but going by the majority of developers its bound to range between Rs. 7-8 per KWh.
