LA PLATA, Mo. — Doral Renewables hosted an open house Tuesday night at the Gary Cunningham Event Center in La Plata to discuss the Macon County solar project.
Kevin Parzyck, vice president of development for Doral Renewables, said the 208-megawatt project is in its early stages, but sufficient land has been secured.
The next steps include land evaluation, environmental analysis, and meeting legal requirements.
Parzyck noted the company is about midway through the development process and hopes to begin construction in the next year and a half to two years.
