An NHS trust has secured funding to boost its solar energy capacity and cut long-term energy costs.
Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust has been awarded £366,000 through the Great British Energy Solar Scheme, which will fund the installation of solar panels on selected rooftops.
The scheme is expected to save the trust around £45,000 per year once fully operational.

Thomas Sneddon, deputy head of estates at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, said: "This funding empowers us to significantly build on our existing, successful solar generation.
"It is a clear 'win-win' situation that benefits the trust, our patients and the wider environment."
The solar panels will generate clean electricity, helping the trust reduce its carbon footprint and support the NHS Net Zero agenda.
The Great British Energy Solar Scheme now supports 34 NHS trusts and approximately 260 sites across the country.
