How to Save 229 Hours on Ground Mount Solar PV System Layouts – CleanTechnica

We have a webinar coming up that I’m very excited to share with people, especially those in the solar PV industry who design and develop ground mount solar power systems.
While much attention gets put on rooftop solar PV systems and optimizing the designs of rooftop PV, most of the solar power installed in the world is ground mount solar PV. Utility-scale solar projects are becoming a bigger and bigger slice of the solar PV pie, and community solar projects are also growing rapidly.
Our upcoming webinar with PVcase focuses on how you can address the challenges of ground mount solar PV projects. In particular, using tailored, high-quality software to design solar PV systems is critical to being efficient, cost effective, and successful in this industry in 2025. It’s not 2015 any longer, when the solar industry was much smaller, solar PV prices were much higher, and you could get by with slow, inefficient solar PV system design and development.

One standout point the company mentions is that customers have told the company that they can save 170 hours on detailed layouts and can save 59 hours on preliminary layouts from using its Ground Mount software.
Efficiently understanding the terrain you’re dealing with, using automations for things that are difficult to do in AutoCAD, streamlining common processes, integrating current PV tech — all of these things make a difference, from site selection to construction design. Ensuring file format compatibility, unit consistency, and other “little” things can also make a big difference in not losing or wasting time.
To learn much more, register for our webinar on June 12. It will be held at 11:00 EST/8:00 PST on Zoom.
