Premier Energies has commissioned a 400 megawatt solar cell manufacturing facility in Telangana. This is part of an Rs 11,000-crore expansion plan. The company aims to more than double its solar cell and module manufacturing capacities by 2028. This move will cater to domestic demand and reduce import dependence. Premier Energies is also looking to enter ingot and wafer production.
