A Kentucky-based rock band has partnered with a nonprofit organization to give back to area youth.
Donations from My Morning Jacket helped to bring solar power to the Huntington Children’s museum, according to a news release from Reverb.
The partnership brought 44 solar panels to the museum, helping to save money and streamline operations.

According to Reverb, the system is expected to save more than $100,000 in electricity over the next quarter century, providing more funding to exhibits and educational efforts.
The installation was completed by Solar Holler, a Huntington company that also powers Healing Appalachia.
The Huntington Children's Museum provides STEAM-focused learning for ages 1-to-10.
The museum is located at 1700 Washington Avenue and is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
