Gujarat became the largest contributor of the Renewable Energy in the total Installed Capacity 42.583 GW by accounting 16.5% of the country’s total installed renewable energy. Gujarat sets the new milestone in renewable energy, contributing to India’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2070 and reducing the dependency on conventional fuels.  
Gujarat becomes the renewable energy powerhouse of India. Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu top positions in solar and wind energy respectively, Gujarat’s integrated approach across wind, solar, and hybrid projects has pushed it to the forefront. Gujarat has advantage of the largest coastline and arid land patches to build massive energy parks to become the nation’s green energy leader.

Rooftop Solar: Gujarat leads the country in residential rooftop solar installations, making green energy a household standard.
Energy Parks: The state has the Khavda Renewable Energy Park, which is set to be one of the largest hybrid renewable energy installations in the world.
Wind-Solar Hybrid Policy: Gujarat was one of the first states to introduce a dedicated policy for hybrid projects, optimizing land use and grid stability.
Investment Hub: Due to its “plug-and-play” infrastructure for industries, it has attracted the highest investments from both public and private energy giants.
