Čukić Šoškić: More than 7.000 households have installed solar panels through the "Solari" project – vijesti.me

More than 7.000 households in Montenegro have already installed solar panels through the “Solari” project, Iva Čukić Šoškić from “Solar Gradnje” pointed out in “Boje jutra” on TV Vijesti.
The greatest interest is recorded in Podgorica, Nikšić and the Coast.
“After paying off the solar power plant, households practically receive free electricity, and the panels last at least 25 years, operating at 85 percent capacity and enabling long-term savings,” concluded Čukić Šoškić.
He says citizens are immediately realizing savings on their electricity bills.
“During the summer months, energy surpluses are greater than consumption, and in annual calculations, in most cases households produce more electricity than they consume,” said Čukić Šoškić, adding that Elektroprivreda pays the difference to users.
He points out that the procedure is simple.
“It’s enough to call, our engineers assess the roof and install the panels, and the power plant undergoes a technical inspection before commissioning. Each user can monitor production and consumption via the application,” she explained.
