GreenSpark Solar earns NYSERDA Gold Quality Installer status – Democrat and Chronicle

Rochester-based GreenSpark Solar has once again earned a designation from the state for meeting quality assurance standards.
The solar installation company earned Gold Status as a New York State Energy Research and Development Authority Quality Solar Installer for the third consecutive year and fifth overall.
“Earning NYSERDA’s Gold Quality Installer designation for the third year in a row is a meaningful validation of the care our team brings to every project,” said George McConochie, COO of GreenSpark Solar, in a statement. “Quality isn’t just about passing inspections – it’s about designing and installing systems that perform reliably for decades, and making the solar experience easy and trustworthy for our customers.”
To earn the Quality Solar Installer designation, a solar installer must:
To receive gold status, an installer must receive the QSI designation for three consecutive years. An installer can receive platinum status if they receive a QSI designation for six consecutive years.
There are four NYSERDA platinum quality installers and 10 gold quality installers in the state.
