'We've got one shot' Fayette residents urge officials to restrict solar – Hillsdale Daily News

FAYETTE TWP. — Public trust, transparency and the future of large‑scale solar development took center stage Feb. 10 as the Fayette Township Planning Commission listened to more than an hour of pointed public comment while reviewing an application for a 1,500-acre utility‑scale solar project from Ranger Power.
Only four commissioners (two recently appointed) were present, with three having previously recused themselves from solar‑related discussions. When given the opportunity to speak, residents raised concerns about how a reduced commission could navigate one of the community’s most contentious issues.
