Solar panels will be coming to the roof of the Benjamin A. Friedman Middle School in Taunton, a year after solar panels were also installed on the roof of the Chamberlain Elementary School.
“The project team is targeting substantial completion for Friedman by Monday, March 30, 2026,” a letter from Superintendent of Schools John Cabral said regarding the Friedman solar panel project. Cabral’s letter said that a roof replacement project for the Friedman school had been completed, which paves the way for the solar panels to be installed by March.
