The Harold and Mitzie James 4-H Camp and Outdoor Learning Center at Mingus Springs is a 70-year-old hidden jewel located on Mingus Mountain. Just an hour from the center of Prescott you will find the perfect location for your next retreat, school camp, meeting or gathering.
Locally known as, “James 4-H Camp,” the land was first developed in the 1950s and later purchased in 1968 by the Dahlberg Foundation. Through the Dahlberg family’s leadership, the camp was revitalized into an environmental outdoor education center and summer camp that serves hundreds annually.
