The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has recently added Fujiyama Power Systems Limited to the fifth revised Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) List-II for solar cells.
Fujiyama Power Systems Limited has been enlisted for a manufacturing capacity of 437 MW/year for its bifacial mono-C-Si solar cells, having an average efficiency of 23.41%, with efficiency ranging from 22.60% to 23.60%. The approved wattage range for the solar cells is 7.46 W to 7.79 W.
The ALMM listing will be valid from February 13, 2026, to February 12, 2030. The company’s manufacturing facility is located at KH-345/1, 345/2, 345/3, 347/1, 347/2, 347/3, 349/2, and 349/3, Nangla Chamroo, Gautampuri, Dadri, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India – 203207.
Fujiyama Power Systems Limited got enlisted to ALMM-II for its solar cell plant in Dadri in Uttar Pradesh (UP). Fujiama has earlier commissioned a 1 GW solar cell manufacturing plant at Dadri, Uttar Pradesh, expanding its footprint iin backward integration strategy.
The facility was commissioned on January 21, 2026, with a total investment of INR 300 crores, funded through a mix of internal accruals and debt. The company currently operates a total solar panel manufacturing capacity of 1.6 GW, of which 1.2 GW is located at Dadri. The entire 1 GW solar cell capacity will be utilised for captive consumption, supporting the company’s solar panel manufacturing operations.
MNRE has previously enlisted companies like Evervolt Solar Technology India Pvt. Ltd. for 1074 MWs/Year,
Based on the revised figures, the total ALMM-II enlisted manufacturing capacity for solar cells across the listed companies stands at 26,823 MW (≈26.82 GW). This reflects the current approved capacity as per the latest revision and should be treated as the final valid number rather than a cumulative addition of previous lists.
Among the manufacturers, Waaree leads with 5,251 MW, followed by the Tata Group with 4,813 MW, Mundra with 3,832 MW, and First Solar at 3,433 MW. Premier Energies now holds a revised capacity of 3,283 MW, strengthening its position among the top cell manufacturers in the ALMM-II list.
Other contributors include ReNew (1,766 MW), Emmvee (1,553 MW), Evervolt (1,074 MW), Jupiter (779 MW), Websol (602 MW) and Fujiyama (437 MW). Together, these capacities highlight the rapid scaling of India’s domestic solar cell manufacturing ecosystem under the ALMM framework.
