TOKYO — Japanese oil company Idemitsu Kosan on Thursday unveiled a solar farm it built at a rice paddy in southern Japan, highlighting cropland as a potential key to reaching the government's goal of 50% of electricity coming from renewable sources amid dwindling locations for traditional solar farms.
