Solar farm helping Maxion Wheels to net zero – Tyrepress

Maxion Wheels has inaugurated a solar photovoltaic system at its light vehicle and commercial vehicle steel wheels plant in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. The facility’s installed capacity of 499 kW, supported by 1,073 photovoltaic modules, should generate approximately 919 MWh of clean energy annually. This will prevent the emission of around 617 tonnes of CO2 each year – equivalent to the carbon captured by more than 10,200 trees over the next decade.
