India based Bessco Power Pvt. Ltd. and Renergo Developers Pvt. Ltd. have announced a strategic joint venture to develop 1,000 MW of renewable energy projects across India and Nepal. The partners plan to advance the portfolio within the next 18–24 months, primarily focusing on utility-scale solar PV developments. Both companies will also explore opportunities in compressed biogas, green hydrogen, and green ammonia as part of the platform. The initiative aims to expand renewable energy infrastructure across South Asia. Company executives said the collaboration combines development expertise with project execution capabilities to deliver large-scale renewable assets. The partners are currently evaluating several project opportunities, with initial developments expected to begin in the coming months.
