Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), an India-based renewable energy implementing agency under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, has issued a tender inviting bids for renewable electricity supply. The tender seeks procurement of 1 GW round-the-clock renewable power from ISTS-connected renewable energy installations integrated with energy storage systems. The procurement will follow a tariff-based competitive bidding process conducted through e-bidding followed by e-reverse auction under the SECI-RTC-TM-V program. Successful developers will establish renewable generation and storage infrastructure and supply electricity to SECI under a 25 years PPA. The RfS document fee is INR 50,000 (~ $550) plus applicable GST, while the bid processing fee is INR 20,000 (~ $220) per MW, capped at INR 2,000,000 (~ $22,000). Bid submissions will close on 04 May 2026, with bid opening scheduled for 07 May 2026. Bidders must quote minimum 100 MW and maximum 500 MW contracted capacity, while qualifying renewable installations must have been commissioned within the last seven years from the bid submission deadline.
