The City of Syracuse has partnered with EnergySmart CNY and Solar Simplified to introduce the Syracuse Community Solar program, which allows residents to save on their electric bills by subscribing to a share of a local solar farm. Through the Syracuse Community Solar program, residents can subscribe to a portion of a local solar farm. Households can expect to save around 10% on their electric bills, with even higher savings of up to 20% for income-qualified participants. The enrollment process is simple and takes just a few minutes online, with no upfront costs, installation, or second bill required.
