According to Solar Power World Online, a group of solar industry partners collaborated to donate a photovoltaic system for a recent St. Jude Dream Home project in California’s Coachella Valley. The donated installation for the 2026 Coachella Valley St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway includes a 3.8-kilowatt inverter from Tigo and Tigo MLPE devices supplied by Greentech Renewables, with GOAT Solar providing the installation work.
The complete system is rated at 5.72 kilowatts and is described as having expansion capabilities for adding batteries or a generator. The chief marketing officer at Tigo noted that the collaboration between the companies allowed their solar solutions to contribute to the initiative. A manager at Greentech Renewables stated that the project supported both the organization’s work and the solar industry more broadly. The owner of GOAT Solar expressed that the house would have a happy owner while also making a difference.
