Intertek Group plc has acquired solar PV laboratory assets from Mitsui Chemicals India Pvt. Ltd. in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The facility provides ISO 17025 accredited testing services for solar installations, materials, and components. It also includes BIS and IECEE CB Scheme certifications to support domestic and international market access. The acquisition expands Intertek’s Risk-based Quality Assurance services in India’s solar sector. The lab strengthens Intertek’s footprint in western India and complements its ATIC solutions portfolio. The company will also integrate services such as drone inspections and plant performance assessments.
