Duro-Last Expands Line With Wind and Solar Systems – Roofing Contractor

Duro-Last introduced two new systems—VADA Vented Roof Systems and SWIF Rack Commercial Solar Racking—through its national contractor network, expanding its offerings for wind resilience and rooftop solar integration.
The VADA Vented Roof System is designed to improve wind uplift resistance by addressing pressure differentials at the roof perimeter rather than increasing field attachment. The system is compatible with Duro-Last PVC and Duro-Tech TPO membranes and is intended to enhance performance in high-wind conditions.
The SWIF Rack system is engineered to support rooftop solar installations while preserving roof performance and accessibility. Using a stanchion-based attachment that connects through the roof assembly into the building structure, the system elevates solar arrays above the membrane. This design helps reduce membrane wear, prevent compression damage, and maintain access for maintenance and repairs.
The system also supports serviceability by allowing roof work, including replacement, without removing solar panels. Together, the two systems reflect a focus on integrated roof design, durability, and long-term performance in commercial applications.
