Solidus commissions 40 MW captive solar plant in India – Solarbytes

India based Solidus Techno Power Private Limited, a renewable energy company, has commissioned a 40 MW / 60 MW solar project in Punjab. The plant was developed under the captive open access policy. The project serves Aarti International Ltd and Aarti Steel International Limited. It is located in Fazilka, Punjab. The facility is expected to generate 85 million units of electricity annually. Annual CO₂ reduction was stated at more than 80,000 tons. Solidus said its completed solar portfolio has reached 200 MW across North India.
