FIMER to supply AMP with battery systems for Battery Box rollout – Solar Power Portal

FIMER, an international photovoltaic inverter manufacturer, has announced it will supply battery systems for AMP Clean Energy at suitable locations.
April 29, 2026
According to the announcement, FIMER and AMP’s agreement is designed to support the rollout of AMP’s Battery Box energy storage solution.
AMP’s product connects to the local electricity network and manages the timing differences between electricity usage and intermittent energy generation.
From July 2026, FIMER will provide AMP with 400 units of PVX-215 at suitable sites, with an anticipated completion date by the end of the year. FIMER notes in its announcement that its PVX-107/215-HV technology is a modular energy storage system with a capacity that ranges from 107 to 215kWh.
As the ESS is suited for C&I projects and can withstand the conditions required for outdoor installation, this will likely be kept in mind when suitable AMP sites are considered.
Regarding the sites, AMP will continue to lead on the development, installation, and deployment of its Battery Boxes. It will additionally remain the primary contact for landowners and businesses looking to host a Battery Box.

In the statement, Mark Tarry, CEO at AMP, said: “Working with FIMER gives us access to a scalable, modular technology that supports our rollout plans and our focus on increasing grid flexibility and strengthening network resilience.”
“AMP will be leading the development and installation of these projects, and we look forward to working with landowners and organisations interested in hosting a Battery Box on their site.”
The agreement demonstrates another step on FIMER’s path for European expansion, having previously acquired MA Solar UK in January 2025. FIMER and AMP’s partnership is the first between the two companies and, as FIMER states in its announcement, has been forged with the goal of supporting grid flexibility and strengthening local network resilience.
Antonio Verdi, FIMER Co-CEO, concluded: “This agreement marks an important step in strengthening our collaboration and reflects our shared commitment to advancing a pragmatic energy transition, driven by efficient and readily deployable solutions.”
