The Indian Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has issued ALMM List-II Revision 7 for PV cells in India, revising Waaree Energies Limited’s existing entries and adding Renewsys India Pvt. Ltd. as a new manufacturer. Waaree’s facility has listed 1328 MWs / Year for PERC bifacial solar cells. The PERC cell entry has a revised efficiency range of 22% to 23.7% and a wattage range of 7.36 W to 7.85 W. Waaree’s TOPCon bifacial solar cell entry has listed 3923 MWs / Year under the revised ALMM list. The TOPCon entry has a revised efficiency range of 24% to 25.8% and a wattage range of 8 W to 8.68 W. Renewsys India’s facility has been added with 452 MWs / Year for RESERV 71P bifacial TOPCon Solar Cells. The Renewsys cells measure 182.2 mm × 183.75 mm, have 16 BB configuration, and are PID free as claimed by the manufacturer. The entry has a listed efficiency range of 24% to 25.6% and a wattage range of 8.03 W to 8.54 W.
