Coal India Subsidiary CIL Solar PV Limited Dissolved Following MCA Approval – PSU Connect

Kolkata: Coal India Limited has informed stock exchanges that its wholly owned subsidiary CIL Solar PV Limited has been officially struck off and dissolved following approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
 
The company stated that the Ministry of Corporate Affairs issued Notice No. STK-7/001155/2026 dated May 11, 2026, confirming that the name of CIL Solar PV Limited has been removed from the Register of Companies.
The notice was received by Coal India on May 12, 2026.
The strike-off was carried out under Section 248(2) and Section 248(5) of the Companies Act, 2013, after completion of the required statutory process.
 
With the removal of its name from the Register of Companies, CIL Solar PV Limited now stands dissolved.
The update follows Coal India’s earlier communication dated April 20, 2026, regarding the proposed strike-off of the subsidiary.
 
The disclosure has been submitted to both stock exchanges to ensure transparency and compliance with SEBI listing regulations.
Coal India Limited confirmed that the update is being provided for information and official record.
