With its legal issues with the Town of Cambria now settled, Bear Ridge Solar is now seeking county incentives for its massive solar project.
Cypress Creek Energy, developers of the 100 MW farm in Cambria and Pendleton, is looking for nearly $27 million in various tax incentives toward the $220.6 million development. Those include $18.6 million in sales tax exemptions, $6.9 million in property tax exemptions over a 20-year period, and $1.4 million in mortgage recording tax exemptions.
