The Missouri Public Service Commission has given its approval to an agreement to build a solar farm in Callaway County.
The PSC granted Ameren Missouri a certificate to build, own, and operate the project.
The 250-megawatt solar generation facility will include a 345-kilovolt switching station.
A press release from the PSC states that the facility will be built on land that Ameren already owns next to the nuclear-powered Callaway Energy Center.
