Saatvik Green secures INR 171.45 crore TOPCon solar module order – pv magazine India

Saatvik Green Energy said this week it has secured an INR 171.45 crore order to supply high-efficiency TOPCon solar modules for a project being developed by a domestic independent power producer (IPP).
The order is to be executed by October 2026.
The company said it will supply TOPCon bifacial glass-glass solar PV modules, which generate power from both sides, not just the front, significantly increasing energy output compared to conventional modules. Built with glass on both faces instead of the traditional plastic backsheet, these modules are also more durable and better suited to the demanding conditions of large open-ground solar farms, where long-term performance and weather resilience are critical.
This order reflects a broader and accelerating industry trend, leading project developers and EPC players are increasingly choosing high-quality, locally manufactured solar modules over imports, driven by reliability, service assurance, and alignment with India’s Make in India policy push, stated the company.
Saatvik Green Energy, a PV module manufacturer and EPC provider, currently operates a 4.8 GW module manufacturing facility in Ambala, Haryana, and is developing a Greenfield integrated manufacturing facility in Odisha with 4 GW of module capacity and 4.8 GW of solar cell capacity.
The company reported FY26 revenue from operations of INR 45.48 billion, up 111% year on year (YoY), marking its highest-ever annual revenue performance. FY26 EBITDA stood at INR 5.81 billion, up 62% YoY, while profit after tax (PAT) increased 64% YoY to INR 3.57 billion.
