Pace Digitek to reach 10 GWh BESS manufacturing capacity by December – pv magazine India

Pace Digitek is scaling up its battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing capacity to 10 GWh by December 2026 (Q3 FY27) through a phased expansion plan.
The company currently has an installed BESS manufacturing capacity of 2.5 GWh. It plans to add another 2.5 GWh by Q2 FY27, followed by an additional 5 GWh by Q3 FY27, taking its total capacity to 10 GWh.
For the first phase of the expansion, machinery for the additional 2.5 GWh capacity has already been received, and installation and commissioning activities are underway. For the second phase, construction of the 5 GWh facility has been completed, with machinery installation and production line setup currently in progress.
Alongside the capacity expansion, Pace Digitek is pursuing backward integration initiatives, including the establishment of an in-house container fabrication facility. The company also plans to strengthen its integrated BESS offering through power conversion systems (PCS) and energy management systems (EMS), while enhancing its end-to-end execution capabilities for utility-scale and commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage projects.
Pace Digitek reported an order book of INR 11,337.9 crore, with the energy segment accounting for 78.1% (INR 8,854 crore) of total orders and the remainder coming from the telecom and ICT sectors. The energy order book is diversified across standalone BESS, solar-plus-storage, and solar PV projects.
