Sunsol Cleantech, which is a distributed energy platform run by Singapore-based company Sunkonnect, has plans for more than 2 GW of solar capacity in India by 2030. The initiative includes 5,000 projects in all segments such as rooftop, captive, open access, on-ground and utility scale segments. The launch was held on June 25, 2026. Sunsol announced that their one-window solution will help deploy solar energy installations in India. Since 2019, Sunkonnect has completed over 5 GW of projects in renewable energy sector. It has partnered with more than 20 companies in India, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and elsewhere.
