Bluebird Solar bags 439 MW module supply order from NTPC REL – Power Peak Digest

Bluebird Solar has secured an order from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) for the supply of 439.35 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules for a utility-scale solar power project in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Under the contract, the company will supply its M10R N-Type TOPCon Dual-Glass Bifacial Solar PV Modules for deployment at the project. The modules are designed to deliver higher efficiency and energy generation while supporting long-term operational performance.
Module supply
The order adds to Bluebird Solar’s presence in the utility-scale solar segment and comes as developers continue to procure domestically manufactured modules for large-scale renewable energy projects.
The company said the modules will be supplied from its manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Manufacturing capacity
Bluebird Solar currently operates a 2.5 GW fully automated solar PV module manufacturing facility in Greater Noida. According to the company, the facility is equipped with automated production lines and quality control systems for manufacturing utility-scale, commercial, industrial and residential solar modules.
The company stated that its product portfolio is designed to maximise energy generation across different climatic conditions while maintaining long-term reliability.
Expansion plans
Bluebird Solar is also planning forward integration into other segments of the solar manufacturing value chain. The company said it intends to establish 2.5 GW integrated manufacturing capacities for solar cells, wafers, ingots and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
According to the company, the planned expansion is aimed at strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities and enhancing supply chain resilience for clean energy technologies.
