JAMESTOWN, R.I. (WJAR) — The Jamestown Volunteer Fire Department said firefighters extinguished a fire that originated on rooftop solar panels on Friday.
The fire happened around noon on Coulter Drive.
The fire was contained to the panels themselves and did not spread to the roof.
There were no injuries.
