Allview Energy signs EPC deal for 50.9 MW solar park in Romania – Solarbytes

Visual Fan S.A., a technology company operating through its Allview Energy division, has signed two EPC contracts with RES INVEST SOUTH EAST EUROPE S.R.L. for the Turda Power Plant Project in Turda, Romania. The agreements cover the turnkey development of a 50.9 MW photovoltaic power plant. They also include the design and construction of a 20/110 kV transformer station. The combined contract value is approximately €20 million (~ $22.8 million). The photovoltaic plant will be developed in partnership with Waldevar Energy S.R.L. The scope includes engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning. It also covers 2 years of operation and maintenance services. The overall investment includes a 120 MWh battery energy storage system and is valued at around €40 million (~ $45.77 million). The construction is expected to begin after the development phase is completed. The project is planned to be energized in 2027. Once operational, it is expected to generate more than 54,000 MWh of electricity annually. The output will be sufficient to supply electricity equivalent to the consumption of around 18,000 households.
