KPI Green Energy, an India-based renewable power producer, has commissioned 200 MW AC and 269 MW DC for Coal India. The commissioned capacity forms part of a larger 300 MW AC and 405 MW DC solar power project. This grid-connected, ground-mounted PV project is being developed at GIPCL’s Solar Park in Khavda, Gujarat. KPI Green Energy is executing the entire project for Coal India under an EPC contractual arrangement. The Gujarat Energy Development Agency has certified the 200 MW AC and 269 MW DC commissioned capacity. The certification covers the portion completed within the project’s stated overall AC and DC capacity.
