The lightweight four-seat SunV combines a 94-mile battery range with solar charging to reduce plug-in frequency for daily commutes.
Solarky Mobility Technologies is expanding its compact solar-assisted electric vehicle after launching sales in Thailand in late 2025 and starting production in Indonesia in 2026. The four-seat SunV is built for short city commutes and uses fold-out solar panels to generate extra driving range when parked in direct sunlight.
The SunV measures 10.3 feet long and 4.9 feet wide with an 81.5-inch wheelbase, making it well suited for busy urban roads and tight parking spaces. It also offers 7.5 inches of ground clearance, while its lightweight construction keeps curb weight at about 1,455 pounds.
The vehicle achieves this low weight through an aluminum chassis paired with plastic body panels.
