Indian Institute of Technology Jammu, an India-based technical institute, has issued an EOI for a 2.2 MW hybrid PV plant. The Jagti Campus project will combine 1 MW of rooftop PV with 1.2 MW on elevated pathway structures. It will also include an 8 MWh distributed usable BESS using LFP or other technically suitable battery technologies. Grid-tied hybrid inverters will support SCADA integration, IoT-enabled controls, cybersecurity, and research across inverters, batteries, algorithms, and power quality. Eligible vendors must submit design options and technical proposals by August 14, 2026, under the exploratory EOI process. IIT Jammu has set a 10-month completion period, while comprehensive O&M is planned for 5–10 years. Shortlisted vendors will later be invited to submit detailed technical and price bids during the subsequent RFP stage. Eligible bidders must have commissioned three similar projects totalling at least 5 MWp during the past seven years. They must also have completed one integrated PV-BESS project of at least 1 MW with 2 MWh storage.
