AMPIN Solar ONE, headquartered in New Delhi, India, is a joint venture between AMPIN Energy Transition and Jupiter International Limited established to manufacture solar cells and modules in India. The company has rolled out its first solar cell, marking the commencement of manufacturing operations at Odisha’s first solar cell manufacturing unit. The milestone represents the start of production at the integrated manufacturing facility in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The plant was developed to manufacture high-efficiency solar cells under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. The facility supports domestic solar manufacturing and will supply Made-in-India solar cells for captive requirements as well as third-party customers.
