Adani New Industries Ltd (ANIL) sold 1.34 GW of solar modules in the Indian market during the first quarter of fiscal year 2027. The company said robust domestic demand fully absorbed export offtake. In Q1 FY 26, the company had reported 1.35 GW module sales, including 704 MW exports and 646 MW domestic sales.
ANIL also expanded its module manufacturing capacity during the quarter by commissioning an additional 1.7 GW TOPCon production line in June 2026, increasing its operational module manufacturing capacity to 5.7 GW. The newly commissioned line forms part of the company’s planned 6 GW TOPCon cell and module manufacturing facility. Construction of the remaining capacity is currently underway.
The company now operates 2 GW of mono PERC cell and module capacity, 2 GW of TOPCon cell and module capacity, and the newly commissioned 1.7 GW TOPCon module line. In the upstream segment, ANIL also has 2 GW of operational ingot and wafer manufacturing capacity as part of its vertically integrated solar manufacturing operations.
