Lyon, France-headquartered Langa International, a renewable energy developer, has secured €26 million in long-term financing from BPCE Energeco for its first photovoltaic portfolio in Italy. The financing covers 12 solar projects with a combined installed capacity of nearly 25 MW, located across northern and southern Italy. The transaction marked Langa International’s first project finance operation in the Italian market and supports its expansion in Italy. Legal, technical, insurance, financial model audit and interest rate hedging advisory services were provided by Bird & Bird, 3E, Marsh, SIGEE FINANCE and ESTER, respectively.
