Beijing-headquartered Dinto Solar, a manufacturer of heterojunction (HJT) photovoltaic cells and modules, has completed Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS) registration for its full range of solar modules in India. The certification confirmed compliance with Indian market requirements for photovoltaic products. Dinto Solar has also partnered with India-based Greencell Energy to deploy its G12-132 HJT modules for distributed solar applications, including solar-powered EV charging infrastructure. The collaboration covers HJT modules with power outputs exceeding 730 Wp and a planned deployment capacity of 100 MW. The BIS CRS registration followed India’s addition of around 26 GW of new solar capacity during the first half of 2026, including about 19 GW of utility-scale and 6.4 GW of rooftop installations, according to JMK Research.
